First MAS Deployment in Disconnected Offshore Environments

Save Your Seat

Stena Drilling is a leading offshore contractor, operating a fleet of five Ultra Deepwater Drillships and one Semi-Submersible. Managing enterprise assets in remote, low-connectivity environments presents unique challenges—especially when operational continuity and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable. Stena Drilling, needed a solution that could support IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) deployment across their headquarters and six vessels, each running local Maximo instances.

In this webinar, discover how Stena, in partnership with Cohesive, successfully navigated the complex journey to MAS deployment and implemented a DNV-certified MAS architecture that enables secure data replication from disconnected vessels to a central system with no data loss. Learn how this approach ensures seamless operations, maintains safety and compliance standards, and eliminates business disruption—even in the most challenging environments.

In This Webinar, You Will:

  • Learn how MAS can be deployed in remote, low-connectivity environments without disrupting operations.
  • Discover how Cohesive Data Utility enables secure and reliable data replication across distributed Maximo instances.
  • Gain behind-the-scenes access to the functional and technical challenges Stena Drilling overcame during their MAS upgrade journey.
  • Learn about the hybrid-cloud architecture, featuring a central MAS instance hosted in Cohesive Cloud.

Key Questions Answered:

  • How can MAS be configured to support disconnected operations across multiple locations?
  • What tools and strategies ensure secure data replication and synchronization with limited connectivity?
  • What are the compliance and certification considerations for offshore asset management?
